Planting and sowing instructions
Sow from Jan to Apr. Plant May to June, and harvest and flower Aug to Oct. Sow seeds in a propagator if possible, cover with 6mm of compost. Place on a windowsill or in a greenhouse to germinate, up to 14 days. Transfer to 7.5cm pots to grow on. Once they are 15cm tall transfer to 25cm pots and keep warm. Then plant out. Your plant will be happier in a greenhouse or polytunnel, but will produce a good crop in a sunny sheltered position.
