Planting and sowing instructions
Sow February to July. Harvest September to December. Sow autumn cabbage seeds indoors from may to june for autumn and early winter harvesting. Or sow outdoors from late March into a well prepared seedbed for transplanting later on. Sow 13mm deep with 23cm between rows. Sow indoors at a depth of 12mm in trays of compost. Place in a propagator or sealed container inside a plastic bag until germination. Grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatise to the outside. Plant 40cm apart, and cover with netting.
