Planting and sowing instructions
Handle with care. Sow Jan, Feb, March, Apr. Flowers Jun, July, Aug and Sept. Harvest July, Aug, Sept, Oct. Can be grown under cover in a greenhouse or polytunnel. Or outdoors in a sunny position. Sow as early as Jan in good peat free compost. In a propagator, under a grow lamp to stop plants becoming leggy. Sow in March if you do not have a propagator. Pot young plants on and grow in warm conditions. When well grown, transfer to grow bags or containers or beds of well prepared soil. If growing outside acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions for 10 days. Space 50cm apart.
