Planting and sowing instructions
Sow Jan, Feb, March, Apr. Flowers Jun, July, Aug and Sept. Harvest Jul, Aug, Sept, Oct. Can be grown under cove in greenhouses or polytunnels. Or grown outdoors in a sunny position that is sheltered. Sow as early as Jan in moist peat free compost, in a propagator, under a grow lamp to stop them going leggy. Sow in March if you don’t have a propagator. Pot young plants and grow them on in warm frost free conditions. When well grown transplant to grow bags or containers, or beds of well prepared soil. If growing outside acclimatise them to outdoor conditions for 10 days. Space 50cm apart.
