Planting and sowing instructions
Sow February to April. Flowers June to September. Harvest July to October. In greenhouses and polytunnels sow from February to March. Outdoors March to April. Sow on the surface of good free draining sowing mix and sprinkle lightly with compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator until germination, about 14 days. When 2 true leaves appear transplant into 7.5cm pots. If growing in a heated tunnel transplant at the end of May, three plants per growbag, one per 25cm pot or straight into the soil. If growing outdoors acclimatise them to the outside over a 10 day period. Plant out early June when plants are 20cm tall. Choose a spot in full sun. Support with a 5ft cane.
