A self blanching type. Quick to mature with less stringiness.
Planting and sowing instructions
Sow February, March and April. Harvest August, September and October. Sow from February to April on the surface of good seed compost. Cover finely with vermiculite or compost. Place in a propagator or sealed container inside a polythene bag. Germination takes around 15 days. Transplant when large enough to handle into individual modules. Plant out when risk of frost has past. Allow 30cm between each plant. Make sure the crown sits at ground level. Keep plants moist.

Broad beans can be planted with beets, carrots, cabbages as well as chamomile and dill. Just £3.50 for 35 seeds.
Cabbages can be produced throughout the year. Companion plants are carrot, onions and thyme. Only £2.20 for 30 seeds.
The scent of calendula does seem to repel pests so include amongst your edibles including broccoli, cauliflower, brussels, carrots, celery, kale, collards, and potatoes. Just £2.80 for 50 seeds.
