Nasturtium. Jewel of Africa. Best Seller!
Nasturtiums belong in a companion planted garden because they are beloved by aphids and act as a sort of “trap crop”. They are favoured over most plants, and aphids make straight for them. The aroma can also confuse pests. Plant them near broccoli, cauliflower, brussels, cabbage, corn, cucumber, peppers, radish, kale, squash and pumpkins. Just £2.80 for 25seeds.

Planting and sowing instructions
Sow March to May. Flower June to September. Sow outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground well and rake finely before sowing. Sow 20mm deep in rows 30cm apart. For earlier flowerings sow seeds 1cm deep and three seeds per 7.5cm pot in damp seed compost. Place at 20-29C until germination and then gradually acclimatise to the outdoors. Before planting into containers ensure plants are well rooted in their pots. Thin out to 15cm apart when seedlings are large enough to handle.
